If you are a returning UWI student that had accessed Turnitin before all you will need is the new credentials to access our container. Please do NOT create a new email address.

For new users, here are some instructions on how to create a new student account:

Visit Turnitin’s website at www.turnitin.com, then click on Create Account

Under Create A New Account, select Student. (Please note the credentials will not work in any other instance).

Insert the credentials (i.e. Class ID and enrolment password), and follow the instructions to complete the rest of the form.

The Turnitin software is available to you without charge. It enables you to check your work as many times as is necessary, from anywhere or at any time, to ensure that any words, ideas or creations of another author that you use are acknowledged and appropriately referenced. Consequently, we urge you to use this medium to check your work before submitting it to the Office of Graduate Studies and Research for examination.
